How to Measure

Note: For best results measure over your undergarments. Use a cloth measuring tape.

measure women's pants

Natural Waist:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

Hip/Seat:

Measure the fullest point between your natural waist and crotch.

Inseam:

Measure from your crotch down to the desired length on body. You may also measure pants that you currently own and like. Lay the garment flat and smooth out. Measure on the front from the crotch point along the seam to the hem for the inseam length.

I prefer to be able to wear a wide belt
I like the fabric. I had another pair of pants made of the same material. They were durable, stain resistant and fast-drying. But I do not understand the "equipment loops." First, i would not know how they were intended to be used, However, they are not "just there." They were made by sewing across two belt loops, into the waist band. That means that the only belt I have that will fit these pants is my narrowest belt. It is essentially a dress belt. Normally, I would wear a wide belt and use that to support a tape measurer, clip-on knife, etc. I can't really do that with my dress belt. The equipment loops make it impossible for me to carry equipment. I have paid a lot of money for a pair of pants that you tout for their utility capability. Your design personnel have failed both Carhartt and me.

Light Weight and Comfortable
I have taken a liking to these pants because they fit well, are light weight, and durable. The fabric in these pants stretch a little which adds to the comfort when bending and moving about. The fabric has a work pant look to them but they look nice enough for casual dress as well. These and the Force Cargo pants are mostly what I wear now.

Prefer old fabric
These pants are OK, I really prefer the older style more that was discontinued, not sure why that happened, those were the best pants I've owned.
