Tough and comfortable work pants
Since I bought my first pair these are the only work pants I buy now. Finally wore out my first pair 2 yrs later doing Framing and Siding Carpentry. Comfortable in hot weather and easy to add thermals in cold weather. Great fit, just loose enough to move around in Trusses but, not baggy. Best work pants I've used in my 13 yrs of construction.

Happy so far
I've only had these for a few weeks, but I'm happy so far. The material isn't super heavy but it seems tough. They handle daily chores outside no problem. Welding will be the real test but that's pretty hard on pants. No holes or burn spots yet. They fit and move great which I need for the work I do.

I bought 32 x 32 and they fit me more comfortably than any other pair of pants I've ever bought in my life. They stay looking unwrinkled and clean for long periods of time before washing and can easily fit into a business casual outfit, but have that Carhartt ruggedness at the ready any time you wanna wear these pants shoveling cow manure or doing roofing in the rain. I'm not exaggerating to say I am greatly impressed with these pants. They do run a bit tight in the waist so keep that in mind but in my case I am slim and I usually need a belt even for 32-waist pants, but not for these ones which is a plus in my book and yet another of many reasons I love these dang pants so much! Definitely will be getting multiple pairs in the future! Ever so tight in the crotch but certainly not restrictive or uncomfortable to me, and frankly I'd prefer pants that are snug those that are excessively loose and baggy and bunch up on you. These pants get a 98 out of 100 grade from me, a solid A+ grade.

Definitely recommend to buy
Love these pants! Light and durable. The only gripe I have is that the pockets on the legs are a touch low, if you need to squat and have any pens, flashlights, screwdrivers...etc in those pockets they may fall out.

I see the Burnt Olive is no longer in stock for the FULL SWING® WATER-REPELLENT CRYDER WORK PANT 2.0. Are you making more in that color, or does this mean you guys are about to discontinue the style altogether? Or, maybe there is a 3.0 coming out? I love the two I have in the khaki color and was planning on getting the other colors soon. You guys stopped making the Force Extremes with the Caconna material which was my favorite style for warmer weather. I hope you don't stop making these as well.
A shopper on Jul 24, 2020
BEST ANSWER: We apologize that the color you are interested in has been discontinued. Typically when we discontinue an item, size or color it is due to lack of sales. Although an item may sell well in one region, if it does not do well nationwide we are forced to discontinue that item.
Why don’t you make these in more color?
Jacob M on Mar 19, 2020
BEST ANSWER: We appreciate your feedback and will forward your suggestion to our Product Design Team for future consideration.
Will carhartt make more?

I was told to but one size up due to shrinkage?
A shopper on Feb 26, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I have bought at least 10 pairs of this style pants and none has ever shrunk. I always buy actual size. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.
Do these pants shrink when washed?
A shopper on Dec 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The shrink ratio is 2-4% as long as the garment is laundered according to the care directions, so you should not notice any shrinkage.
Will carhartt make this style in black?
A shopper on Dec 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We do not currently manufacture this style in the color black. We have forwarded this to our product team as a suggestion.
I have two pairs of these pants. I love them. My first pair fit great. So I ordered a second pair of the same size and they are like they are a size two big. I want to order another pair they work great for my job. But I don’t really know what size I should buy? We don’t have a store to help me fit so I buy off your site. I thought if I washed them a couple of times they would fit better like my first pair. Should I down size?
A shopper on Sep 26, 2019
How are these in hot weather? 90° +
Garrett S on Apr 13, 2019
BEST ANSWER: After a couple of washes, excellent! I wear them in Hawaii doing ship repair 90+ indeed and they are very comfortable.
I have 4 pair of these pants, best pants I’ve ever worn but you need to have a Navy and Blue Jean color and make the side pockets wider, other than that, you have one great pair of pants?
A shopper on Mar 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We appreciate your feedback and will forward your suggestion to our Product Design Team for future consideration.
Why is there a hole at the below the knees of my pants?
A shopper on Feb 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: A neat thing with the double knee, the whole is there so that you can both stuff padding in there to make a knee pad, and also if you’re kneeling often, it helps from them wearing out as quick.
Would you please make these in Navy?
Michael S on Jan 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We appreciate your feedback and will forward your suggestion to our Product Design Team for future consideration.
Any plan stop add more color options? These are the most call mfortable work pants I own and would love to have more variety of colors!
A shopper on Jan 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We do not have any new color coming out this year.
Are these pants a softer more stretchy material or the stiffer more canvas feel?
A shopper on Dec 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They are a softer and more stretchy material. I personally love them, I have 3 pair and wear them everyday for work as an electrician.
how and what do you re-treat these pants with?
Todd H on Nov 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: If you need to do so, you can treat it with an item like Scotchgard or Nikwax - just make sure it is labeled as safe for this type of fabric.
Are these loose in the butt? I don't have much of an ass
A shopper on Nov 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't have much of an ass either, and the butt on these are a little loose, but not baggy. They are quite comfortable and durable. I'm very happy with these pants.
Ever gonna make this in navy?
A shopper on Oct 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We have forwarded this to our product team as a suggestion.
Do you have to re-enter treat for water resistant? How often?
A shopper on Oct 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, depending on usage we would recommend retreating after about 20 washes.
does the pocket zip on the right leg?
ben h on Apr 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: There is not a zipper on the right leg pocket of this pant.
Do these fit comfortably over work boots? Are they appropriate for a heavy duty mechanic... thanks!
A shopper on Apr 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I wouldn’t wear these as a mechanic just bc they almost come off as a supervisors pants, But they do fit over the boot good. They are supper comfortable and stretch with the movement of your body.
What is the leg opening on a 32 waist?
Joseph11 on Feb 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It is 16 5/8 inches.
Will this style ever be offered in a Loose Original Fit like the B151? I like the material and style of these, but prefer the fit of the B151. Would also be great if all Carhartt styles were USA made.
A shopper on Jan 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We do not plan to do so at this time, but will share your input with Product Design.
I see a couple comments that the waist runs small. If I usually wear a 36" waist, should I size up to a 38"?
A shopper on Nov 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We recommend ordering your normal size.
Well this style be offered in fr?
A shopper on Nov 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Not in the near future, but we'll be glad to share your input with Product Design.
Does this version have the weird flex panel in the knee that always stayed open?
Matt B on Nov 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We have updated the articulated knee from the previous version of this pant. The knee is still articulated, but should remain closed most of the time.
Are they gonna make this in the heavyweight 12 oz duck? And it would be nice if they were made in the USA.
