How to Measure

Note: For best results measure over your undergarments. Use a cloth measuring tape.

Natural Waist:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

Hip/Seat:

Measure the fullest point between your natural waist and crotch.

Inseam:

Measure from your crotch down to the desired length on body. You may also measure pants that you currently own and like. Lay the garment flat and smooth out. Measure on the front from the crotch point along the seam to the hem for the inseam length.

Good pants bad sizing
Size is too big, the waist is too big and I don't know if it will shrink or not. Should give actual waist measurements, the size guide is misleading

Carhartt did it right with these. A must-have staple.
These are great - much higher quality than I expected for the price. The fit and finish is nearly the perfect. The textile is a very hefty duck fabric that feels like it will break in nicely with time. Carhartt really did it right with these. These give Ironheart duck canvas double knee pants a run for their money, and that's really saying something because those cost 4x as much. I'm pleasantly surprised and looking forward to wearing these. I recommend ordering normal vanity size - for example, I purchased these in size 32 waist, though the pants actually measure 34.5. You want the extra room since duck fabric doesn't stretch.
