Storm Defender® waterproof protection and a heavy-duty outsole tread design lets you take Rugged Flex® work boots to the most demanding environments. Enhanced comfort features with FastDry™ sweat-wicking linings and Cushion Comfort PU insoles power you through each day. So far so good. My husband keeps talking about how comfortable they are right out of the box. They are definitely somewhat waterproof ?I live up in northeast PA and my husband was out shoveling snow in them for a few hours the other day and he says his feet stayed completely dry.

Looks and Protection
They fit great and the protective toe guard avoids scuffing on the leather. Add this to the composite toe and you have an excellent boot for protection and looks.

Nice boot but not really water proof
I've been using this boot for years and 10 hour days in these boots is nice and comfortable. The boot is very comfortable out of the box. The toe area is nice and roomy. My only complaint is they are not really water proof like the boot says. Walking around in wet socks is not good.
