Storm Defender®

Storm Defender Jacket

Storm Defender® waterproof, breathable technology stops rain, but lets sweat escape through a breathable membrane ― so you can work through a storm.

Staying dry, focused, and safer is easier with rainwear featuring Storm Defender® waterproof breathable technology. It’s made to keep you completely protected from rain and amazingly comfortable inside. Work doesn’t stop when it rains; it just gets harder. Lugging rain soaked garments around adds to the misery, but Carhartt’s jobsite worthy raingear cuts the discomfort.

Great boots that don't last
Bought this pair of boots in August of 2024, by May of 2025 they were ripping at the seams. I work in a field that has puddles and moving water, so when I noticed my socks wet at the end of the day I was severely disappointed. The right boot is ripping at the seam, exposing the layers under the sole and my socks. I can't pay $200 every year for boots.

Worst Boots
These are the most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn, I have tried several times to wear these to get them broke in, they dig into my ankles, and yesterday I wore them about all day determined to justify the money I spent on them and my feet were absolutely killing me, by the end of the day I could swear I could feel the lugs of the soles pushing upward into my feet, I could barely walk untill I soaked my feet in an epson salt bath. I should have spent the other 100$ and bought the boots I usually buy, which are the Chippewa Logger Boots, styled exactly like these so it's not like I bought something my feet wouldn't be used to, they just aren't worth the money, at any price!
