Sandstone Traditional Coat / Arctic Quilt Lined

Everything was way too big. When I reordered it the replacement was the wrong style and way too small. The coat is completly out of stock in Leg.

Just what I expected from Carhartt. Unavailable in New Zealand so I had it shipped here by MyUS which I paid extra for but well worth it. I'm saying it runs large because I'm normally a large but I wear a medium in Carhartt.

Sleeves are ridiculously oversized compared to rest of coat which fits well

Typical Carhartt quality and durability. I purchased this because my other coats were sometimes not quite warm enough for low activity chores. This one has not disappointed me because it is a warmer coat and blocks wind better. That being said, I am not sure I would consider this to be an "arctic" level coat. Good for average winters in Idaho.

Fits very well in the upper body. The jacket looks very nice, especially the collar. I do not like the Velcro flap because it makes it slightly difficult to zip. The pockets are higher than other jackets. Overall I like it and will be keeping it. This fits much better in the shoulder area than the C61 style. I recommend sizing down only one size. I wish the functionality was a bit better - i.e. I wish the Velcro pockets on the chest were deeper and lower for ease of use. I wish that the pockets were zippered rather than Velcro, I wish the hand pockets were a bit lower and lined with some soft material, I wish the inside zipper pocket was on the left side rather than the right, I wish the velcro flap for the main zipper did not interfere with the zipping - because it likes to be shut as you are zipping it up.
