How to Measure

Note: For best results measure over your undergarments. Use a cloth measuring tape.

measure men's baselayer

Chest:

Measure just under your arms and across your shoulder blades, holding the tape firm and level. If your chest falls between sizes, order the next size up.

Hip/Seat:

Measure the fullest point between your natural waist and crotch.

Natural Waist:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

Inseam:

Measure from your crotch to the desired length on body. You may also measure pants that you currently own and like. Lay the garment flat and smooth out. Measure on the front from the crotch point along the seam to the hem for the inseam length..

Perfect fit. I'm 6'3, about 225 pounds...it's comfortable, the sleeves are great for my arms.

Shrunk and Cheaply made
I'm 6'3 and bought the 3X Tall after 1 wash in cold water they shrunk above my waist, if your ordering tall don't waste your money. Thin and cheaply made, not the same quality of past Carhartt.

Rare Style not Everyone can Apreciate.
This specific style was (past tense) sold at my place of work (Buchheit) a couple years ago. I purchased a couple sets to make working outside bearable and while pricey (markup obviously) proved exactly what I needed. This year I upgraded to new size and was not disappointed it fit my slender body comfortably. Carhartt is quality and primary reason I purchased these undergarments (long johns). Only criticism I have is the inability to change the sleeve length and/or inseam, just like clothing back in the 1960's - 70's in mail order catalogs allowed. Maybe someday we'll get away from **4-5 size charts fits everyone**.
