High-Visibility Loose Fit Midweight Thermal-Lined Full-Zip Class 3 Sweatshirt

Bought one of these thermal lined, rain defender hi-vis hoodies 2 years ago and it's still in one piece, just can't get it to smell clean anymore. (Not an issue) bought a new thermal lined, rain defender hi-vis hoodie... ...not the same! Granted, they changed the look/style a little bit,(adding the pocket flaps, full neck zip up not a fan. Material feels completely different, a lot softer, more delicate. Does not feel nearly as tough as the old style. the cuffs are definitely not the same and will be the first thing to fall to pieces in months if not weeks. And let's not forget about the zipper. Went from a full metal zipper and clasp to cheap and brittle plastic. Not a fan, bring the old style "durable" hoodie back. This isn't a fashion show. There are cheaper brands that offer the same crap quality. The only reason I ever paid carhartt prices is because it was durable, not because it felt good or looked nice, but because it stood up to what ever dirty job you were doin. Everything about this hoodie is soft, when it shouldn't be. We need rough and rip resistant.

Comfortable when you need that extra bit of warmth.

Overall, this is a great product. The generous size makes layering easy and comfortable. I do have 2 small complaints. The cuffs tend to stretch out quickly after being washed. And, the interior pocket needs to be slightly deeper to hold my cell phone+case. If it were 3/4 of an inch deeper, I could velcro the pocket and secure my phone. Again, this is a good product. I will buy more. I'm looking forward to see how Carhartt improves it over time.

Would highly recommend. Kept warm and dry in below freezing temperatures. Plenty of room for functionality. High visibility is a understatement, great for outside night work. Wish I would have purchased earlier.

The mess lining of the jacket is ridiculously uncomfortable and itchy. Horrible design !!!
