Measure just under arms and across shoulder blades holding the tape firm and level. If your chest falls between sizes, order the next size up.

Natural Waist:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

Best shirt jac there is
I bought one of these from a Carhartt store in my neighborhood last year on a whim. Usually I wear a 3XLT in Carhartt jackets but this one was only available in 3XL. It didnt matter because it fit perfectly anyway. For reference I am 6'2 and 290 lbs. Even with a sherpa lining, it was roomy enough for a base layer and another carhartt sweatshirt underneath. I wore it all winter and never had a problem with getting cold. The only thing it won't help you with is rain or moderate to heavy snow, as any flannel will soak up water like a sponge. I intend to buy at least one more of these so I have some color varieties. I got a lot of compliments wearing my current one too. Great job boys.

Large is perfect
5' 8" 190 lbs large is perfect fit. Have worn many shirt jaxs. This instantly is one of best. Fit is excellent. All good.
