Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

HIPS:

Measure the fullest part of your hips, approximately 8" below the natural waist.

Note: For best results measure over your undergarments. Use a cloth measuring tape.

Worth every penny
Great product for the price! I really like these Sun Defender shirts, perfect weight & feel, arms not unbearably long like they are in some of these hoodies & body length just right too. The necks on these shirts are done very nicely as well. I am 5'5 & 118lbs & fit perfectly in an XS. I originally ordered smalls, but they were "just a little more generous" than I preferred & ended up re-ordering the XS's. I guess it all depends on the look & looseness you want. My only wish is that there were more color selections.
