A St. Patrick’s Day message from Guinness and Carhartt
Here's to the people behind the greatestSt. Patrick's Day Parade on Earth
Even though St. Patrick's Day feels different this year, our good friends at Guinness--who have been around for 260 years--share our sentiment that we're pretty tough when we stick together. However you choose to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this year, we raise a pint to all of our friends out there--especially the ones working hard to keep the world moving and to everyone working hard to keep us all safe.
Since 1966 an eco-friendly vegetable-based dye has been used to create the iconic green color of the Chicago River on the day of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. While the contents of the dye remain a closely guarded secret, it has been approved by the city of Chicago, as it has been thoroughly tested and deemed safe for all aquatic wildlife and plants.
