Since 1889, Carhartt has been building best-in-class apparel for the active worker. Our founder, Hamilton Carhartt, spoke to railroad workers on the job as he developed Carhartt’s very first products. Not only have we been making clothes for the worker for over a century, we’ve been talking to our consumers for over a century. In order to make sure our products will continue to serve your needs for the next century, we’ve enlisted an army of hardworking men and women to help us develop a better product and experience. We call these folks "Groundbreakers."

Quality material but flame resistant treatment sucks can’t handle a full day of welding without the shirt being cover in pinholes from spatter

Response from Carhartt
We do not recommend our FR gear to be worn while welding, or performing similar jobs that involve exposure to sparks and flames. Carhartt Flame-Resistant Clothing will protect better than 100% cotton or synthetic garments because the FR fabric is self-extinguishing. However, flame-resistant clothing is susceptible to holes and fabric burns created by sparks and metal debris generated by activities such as welding. Please feel free to contact us at 1 800 833 3118 with any questions.

Not flame resistant at all, not even spark resistant. Had 2 week and already ruined all 3 of them.

The red color is awesome!
Love the weight, color, and the fit. The reason for the 4 stars is that the fabric is a little too stiff, even after washing. But would highly recommend it!

Love the shirt but get one size smaller than your normal.
The size runs really big. I suggest getting one size smaller than what you normally wear. But love the way it feels and looks!

Great gift.
I bought these for my son who works as an electrician. He's required to wear flame resistant clothing and will only wear Carhartt.

Hubby likes them!
My husband likes a heavier fabric in his shirts and this a good medium weight. Hubby is pleased! These shirts wash and dry very well. Didn’t notice any shrinkage. Would highly recommend these shirts.

DISAPPOINTED
I'm not impressed with the shirt. First day my son wore it and did some welding,it melted thru the shirt and he has a big burn on his arm. With the money I spent on it,I'm not impressed with it and I actually thought Carhartt wld do better than that. That's why I went with carhartt, top brand in my book.
