Love them. A bit stiffer than yoga pants but softer than denim. Waist is a bit smaller than I thought it would be. Legs are a bit roomier. If you have stick legs I would suggest sizing down. 5'5 155# and hip-y. Medium fits great

Love hate
I have a love hate for these. I ordered my first pair and loved the fit and fabric. I then ordered two more in the same size and one is small and the other is too large. Even though, I still wear them. The worst part is the seams. I have started hiking a lot more for my work and the seams have started to chaff my groin area and all the way down my legs where they run. Not too sure what to do about this...

Proportioning is weird but overall great.
These are the comfiest work pants I have ever owned. Great for my job in heavy construction. My biggest issue is they are proportion weird. I am 5'4" and pants hit me at all the wrong spots. I accepted that the pant might be a bit long on me. The reinforced knee patch starts at the top of my kneecap and ends at the middle of my shin. Not like the model shown. when I pull up the pants legs to get the patch to the right spot, then the pants become ankle length. I normally don't have an issue going with regular length pants rather than petite/short I actually prefer regular length. This is the first brand I have had an issue with. It's like they made these pants for people with super long thighs, but really short shins.

Love them
These are super comfortable, and feel durable. I am 5'1" 135 lbs I ordered these in a small. The waist band was a little tough to get over my hips but they did not slip down at all.

Both too small and too big
With "Runs Small", "TTS, or "Runs Large" as the only options - FIT info is inaccurate.
I ordered two sizes of these hoping one would fit. Not even close. Medium was ridiculously small. While the next available size, Large was enormous. I could fit two of me in that one.
These would be the perfect work pant for what I do IF they were to make them in ACTUAL sizes, like 4, 6, 8, 10, 12.
I had to return both, and until a better sizing option comes along, I will have to resort to wearing 'Disposable' fashion that I can afford to lose a pair of every 3-6 months due to damage.

I love these!
They are true to description. They wick sweat away so i stay comfortable working in heat and humidity, and dry almost immediately after walking through tall wet grass. They seem tough for barn work, comfortable, look good, and allow me to simply wipe dirt off.

Fabric runs like nylons
I really wanted to love these--they're comfortable and you can't beat the pockets, esp. for work--but after only a few days of wear the fabric along the crotch/butt seams started to run like nylons. I'm not happy I spent so much on a pair of leggings that fell apart faster than any other garment I've ever owned!

Yes. Just yes.
These pants are perfect. They are ridiculously comfortable when I'm hiking in the woods all day as a forestry tech. I prefer these to any other field pants I have. My only dislike is no more talls. I'm 5'10" and the want ends above my ankle not a huge problem I just wear sock over it with work boots or hikers... But I would buy like 5 more pairs if talls came back in both colors. Bottom line get these pants girl... You won't regret it. Cannot say how thankful I am that Carhartt has made a pant without a low rise wasit band!!

Will you be restocking the olive in medium and small?
Natalie M on Aug 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We apologize, but the olive color has been discontinued.
I love these leggings! Do you have plans to make them in other colors?
A shopper on Jul 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We plan to offer this style in Black and Tarmac this fall.
Which would you recommend for landscaping in 90+ degree weather? SERIES 1889® SLIM DOUBLE FRONT DUNGAREE or FORCE UTILITY KNIT LEGGING?

Series 1889 Slim Double Front Dungaree
Series 1889 Slim Double Front Dungaree
BEST ANSWER: Hi Layla, I lanscaped I’m the slim double from dungaree for a whole summer. They definitely get very hot! But they will hold up in the knee area and protect you from pokey plants and what not. I would recommend getting those (because I do love them) and also a light weight pant for those really hot days. Hope this helps! :)
I have size 27.5 inch waist and 40 in hips. Height 5'9. What size utility pant should I get?
A shopper on Jun 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You are between sizes, but you may have the best luck with a Medium. Please call us at 1 800 833 3118 for further assistance.
Will Carhartt be making these leggings in petite sizes in the future? I'm 5"3, and I have the regular ones, but I have to roll them up to wear them.
Natalie M on May 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We appreciate your feedback and will forward your suggestion to our Product Design Team for future consideration.
Are these comfortable to wear in hot weather?
A shopper on May 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The material is quite thick and very densely woven. I wear them as if they were thin (~1mm) neoprene wet-suit pants, only very tough, with pockets and knee pads etc. In hot dry weather they would be very "hot", in wet conditions, and or windy/wet, they do cool off a bit with evaporation. For me these are "working wet-suit" pants. When you are wet, you need a skin-tight fabric to keep you warm. In very cold weather these can be used as "skins" under a shell or dry-suit, etc.
Are you going to make these in petite sizes?
Terry C on Apr 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Not in the near future, but we'll be glad to share your input with Product Design.
Is there a timeline for adding more Tall sizes to your stock?
A shopper on Apr 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We expect more XL tall in black in December. We do not have plans to restock the Olive in Tall sizes at this time.
I'm a soon to be electrical apprentice, would these be appropriate attire for that kind of work? And if I range from size 0 - 2, is it possible the smallest size be too loose? Do they shrink at all?
Jamie R on Apr 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They are very fitted and may not be work appropriate or comfortable. They stay true to size and keep their shape after wash. Hope this helps.
Are these FR?
A shopper on Apr 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This style is not Flame Resistant.
Does the %5 spandex include a natural latex additive, and/or does the whole garment have any latex added anywhere? I have a latex allergy and try to avoid certain fabrics.
p h on Apr 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: While our specifications do not call for any latex to be used in this style, we cannot guarantee that trace amounts of latex won't be found in the spandex.
Hello, how stretchy are these? Do they stretch in the waist band, thigh area or less so?
Eden C on Apr 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Edan they have good stretch, I have found one pair gets more loose in the waist than the other and they have nice thigh area, I have large calves so I went with the large 12-14 I tried the 10’s fit everywhere good but the calves they were just too tight, a great durable pant.
How long does shipping to Canada take?

Laura G on Mar 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We plan to restock the first week of July 2018.
when will you restock the small olives? This question has been asked several times before so obviously there is a demand that's not being met, PLEASE RESTOCK YOUR SMALL WOMEN'S CARHARTT!
omfggg_restock on Mar 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We currently have stock in the color Olive, size Small for the force utility legging.
Are these leggings boot cut?
A shopper on Mar 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, the leg opening is fairly snug around the ankle.
Will these be available in Olive again soon?
A shopper on Feb 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, it will not be in the near future.
Big butt, small waist. Can the waistband be easily modified to tighten it up? Or are you going to put belt loops a/o drawstring soon? (PS Your model looks like a boy)
Rissy on Feb 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I added elastic to the waistband by opening up the seam on the inside and threading through a 2-inch length of elastic. It didn't take long, and worked very well. I no longer have issues with the waistband stretching out & the leggings falling down. I have two pairs, and did this to both.
DO YOU KNOW WHEN SIZE M WILL BE BACK IN STOCK?
millerre on Feb 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We currently have the M in stock.
How do the inner seams hold up to friction? I've got thick thighs that tend to destroy pants.
TayaR on Feb 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have the same issue and have found these to be very durable. Great pants

A shopper on Feb 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The inseam is 29."

A shopper on Feb 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This is not an FR (flame resistant) style.
What is the inseam?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The inseam is 29."
Are they see through at all or will I have full, opaque coverage?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Completely opaque, much thicker/sturdier then a workout legging.
Are they csa approved?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: These pants do not have any type of a CSA rating.
Will these come in different colors soon? Would love to have them in dark blue, olive green and dark brown.
A shopper on Jan 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We are expected to have a new color for Fall 2018
Will you offer other colors?
Make them in TALL to prevent the pants from dropping after bending over. I pull them past my ankles to allow for some give yet the inseam requires room! Love the product, fabric, durability and look! Help!
A shopper on Jan 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We appreciate your feedback and will forward your suggestion to our Product Design Team for future consideration.
I absolutely love these, and would buy them in every color, disappointed to see only black . Are there any plans to make these in a variety of colors?
A shopper on Jan 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We are hoping to expand the color option. We should be introducing a new color Fall 2018.
Please make these in more colors, they are amazing!!!
Is this something planned for the line?
A shopper on Jan 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We are hoping to come out with a new color for Fall 2018.
Are these shiny or matte looking?
A shopper on Dec 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They are somewhat in the middle - not too shiny, but not totally matte either.
