Leg Zippers way too short. Any work bibs need zippers to the waist!!
Zippers on legs are almost useless. Work bibs need zippers to the waist so they can be put on with your boots already on. These are very warm and comfortable though. The straps need to be solid fabric and longer, the elastic ones end up making my shirt choke me when i sit. If straps were longer you would probably need to shorten the legs.

FR Bibs - generally satisfied
Great to work in once you get them on...I have had a few of these over the years. Noticed a few style changes - The zippers on the legs are a bit short and so are the straps over the shoulders. Not a fan of the plastic buckles

FR Bibs, Keeping Me Warm and Safe
Always thankful for the quality of Carhartt clothing, and the FR bibs are no different. They wear good, are comfortable and help to maintain FR compliance. I would recommend.

The zippers up the leg are way to short so therefore there isn't enough room to put these on or off with your boots on. Also the suspenders have no stretch so its a struggle to reach the second and pull over shoulder. Seriously carhart use your head. Who designed these? Very disappointed!

Zippers way to short!
These bibs offer great warmth in seriously cold climates. Great storage with all the pockets. Unfortunately I can in no way endorse the purchase of these bibs. There is a serious design flaw, the leg zippers are way to short. They only come to your mid ankle and inhibits the wearer from putting them on or taking them off with your boots on. Essentially if I’m out on the job site there’s no way to ale them off or on without taking your boots off.

Best overalls I've ever owned.
The best, most warm, and toughest overalls I've ever owned. They are a bit pricey but working in the oilfields has definitely proved them to be 100% worth every penny.

Order the FRC bibs true to your size NOT 2 sizes up like the standard recommend.
Absolutely love the FRC bibs. Word of advice, order them true to your size. The FRC bibs are made differently than the non-FRC. The FRC ones have an elastic band around the mid section for expansion and extra clothing. I originally ordered 2 sizes up based on how the standard ones fit in the store. When they arrived, they were too big to wear. Christina in the Greenwood, IN took the time to measure FRC and non-FRC and ordered me the correct pair and received them next day. Thank you very much for exceptionally awesome customer service.

Are these the same thickness of insulation as the red, or the black in the regular bibs?
A shopper on Dec 17, 2019
How well do the plastic clips hold up over time?
A shopper on Oct 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The plastic clips hold up longer than the metal zippers. I use my bibs most of the winter setting poles climbing poles getting and out of buckets. I would say that i replace my bibs after the second winter due to the zipper breaking.
I do alot of bending and kneeling at work, would these be a good recommendation? Do the hold up to extreme strain?
A shopper on Nov 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We make premium quality workwear that is meant to be worked it. These will accommodate bending and kneeling.
What is the arc flash rating on these and is there a label for it on the bibs?
A shopper on Nov 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This will have a label on them. The ATPV Rating will be 36.
Are these warm in cold weather?
A shopper on Oct 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, being a welder and working out in the elements. I stayed warm, dry, and comfortable. Very durable as well.
