Detroit Canvas Mid Slip On Sneaker

I purchased these shoes about a year ago with the intention of using them for motorcycle riding because of their durability and added abrasion resistance. Anyone who rides knows that regular shoes wear out quickly from the constant abrasion while shifting. Pretty quickly, these became my everyday shoes and not just for riding days. The comfort and versatility grew to putting a lot of miles on them over the last year. I'm on my feet about 10 hours a day for work, and even after going through two insole replacements, the shoes themselves have held up incredibly well. Unfortunately, I was involved in a motorcycle accident and ended up sliding across the asphalt at 50+ mph. My pants, jacket, and gloves were all torn and shredded from the slide. These shoes? The only thing that came out untouched. There's barely a scratch on them. They honestly look almost the same as they did when I put them on before the ride and I still able to wear them today. I will absolutely buy these again. It's hard to tell when that will be because after two insoles, a motorcycle crash, and daily wear, they're still going strong. Exceptional quality from Carhartt. Fan for life!

I've been looking for a lightweight shoe to wear when it's nice out. These Detroit Canvas Mid Slip On Sneakers look good in the black canvas, but like some of the other reviewers have said, they're impossible to get on. I ordered them in the same size as my Carhartt Moc Toe Wedge Boots that I'm currently wearing. I put my feet over top of the Detroit Canvas Mid Slip On Sneakers and could tell that the size was right, but for the life of me, I couldn't get either of my feet in them. The foot holes are just too small without much stretch. I pulled on the heel loop so much that I thought it might rip out. I ended up returning them.

Good looking shoe but leaves no room for a foot to wear it at the ankle leaves no room to slide down into them ! Sad I have tried everything
