Waist:

Measure around your waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Inseam:

Measure pants that fit you well. Lay them flat, with the front and back creased smooth. Measure along the inseam from crotch to bottom of leg hem. Or, if you don’t have pants that fit comfortably, measure from your crotch to your desired pant length.

True to size
They fit true to size and the crotch doesn't sit at your mid thigh like the Ripstop style of Carhartt. Time will tell how well they hold up. One thing I don't care for is the snap and the tie. One or the other is fine. Doesn't need both.

Ok
Snap comes open all the time, need to replace with button. I'm sure some people like this flimsy material but the older force ripstop were much better, just can't get them in tall on the website

Pant are too long and need to be altered. They don't stay folded up. Material seems thin and cheep. I have yet to wear in professional setting due to fit.

Improved
I had the original Force that was discontinued and have been looking for these for a while. The more recent ones aren't quite as good as the were 5-7 years ago but are an improvement over the past 2-3 years. Someone says their snap kept coming undone, mine feels almost too secure. The material is soft, flowy, and great. I am not in an ER setting though. I am in an outpatient eye surgery clinic so the scrubs aren't subjected to a lot of abuse. I just want them thin, comfortable, cool in the summer and well fitting. These check all those boxes for me. I am a large in everything and these fit just like anything else I've ordered from other brands. Definitely stocking up on these, both tops and bottoms.
