Perfect size, really grateful.

It's half a sneaker and a work boot, which means you don't get the best of both worlds. Carhartt went for an ultra slim look. The only really protection is the small toe cap, everything else is just rigid siding with minimal cushion. Even regular sneakers have more padding on the sides. They also did away with regular laces to make it slimmer, so you only get those elastic no-tie laces and a mesh top that makes it way tighter than it should be. So the only real application is for a job site in a relatively clean environment, and where you aren't working long days. Think in terms of the occasional worksite visit, where you want more form than function. The white rim bottoms should have given that away.

Comfortable after the break in period. My heels kinda took a hit after the first day on the job. But as with most work shoes, they're good to go. I suggest wearing them around on and off for a couple days before you put a full day of work in them to loosen them up and get your feet adjusted.
