Keeping my hands warm in these cold OHIO daze

Not all all warm, my fingertips were freezing in fifteen minutes though I kept them dry. Yet they are very bulky and not at all convenient for something like clearing brush or using a leafblower.

4 stars cause I didn't actually get to try them and wear them for use but for a first time trying on they ran a little big, im 6ft 160 lbs and my hands aren't huge but not small so those gloves ran a little big, long in the fingers and a little loose, do look bulky so not sure on the dexterity of them, possibly better when broken in. If they're like other gloves they will stretch a bit after use so might have to size down. Material felt great, felt tough, felt warm would hold up to light/moderate work could last on some heavy use.

highly functional, tough, and warm

01/21/2025. We just had a big freeze and snowfall in coastal NC. I had these for years but never needed them. I wore them out duck hunting because the real feel outside was 5° and sustained 15 mph winds, 25 mph gusts. Things went wrong and the boat motor stopped working. Had to walk the boat on the edge of the water for 1.25 miles. The gloves inevitably got soaking wet but my hands stayed warm ish but most importantly functional and didn't not get frostbite. I was still able to operate/ reload my gun. I would highly recommend these just for emergency's alone. (Was still able to shoot a limit on blue bill)
