Women's Waterproof 6" Moc Toe Wedge Boot

My favorite casual boots, hands-down. I bought the brown and loved them so much that I bought 2 more pairs. First, they are extremely comfortable. Rugged, too, but mainly comfortable. They have a nice height on them and great arch support. You can wear them all day. Lots of compliments!

I'm really pleased with the moc-toe wedge heeled work boot. I appreciate that the folks at Carhartt see value in designing and manufacturing work wear for smaller framed individuals. It's not easy to find durable women's boots in size 6W. These fit beautifully, and are comfortable for all-day use. And being Carhartt, I know they'll last for years. First let me start by saying, I started working in the Utility Field 30+ years ago. As a female, the choices of a good soild work boot was slim to none. I didn't have good fits with boys and men's boots as an alternative. Red Wing came out with a womens work boot however through the years their product cheapened. I then wore a Carolina women's Logging boot with a steel shank. My work profession included being on the end of a shovel, getting in and out of holes, including backhoe, going up and down customers stairs, being on my feet hours on end and in all types of weather situations including muddy holes. About 9 years ago, I transitioned into another department, which does include shoveling as well as a lot of walking. I then started wearing Irish Setters and had very good luck with them and wore them straight out of the box and had no problems whatsoever. These boots have been discontinued for women, leaving me on a work boot search. After trying multiple boot companies and boots, nothing works for me. I settle on this boot because it looks very similar to my Irish Setters. The fit is good and comfortable, feels like my Irish Setters. Now to the bad part, there is something wrong with the boot from my ankle up to the end of the boot. After looking at my Irish Setters, there is not enough cushion in this area, especially at the top of the boot. These boots are digging in to my ankles and legs leaving marks. Making them uncomfortable to work in. I've tried loosening and tightening the laces etc., but I cannot make them work for me. One thing I do miss, not a deal breaker, is the loop at the back of the boot. I don't care about stylish or cute, I need a work boot that actually functions in all work situations.

Bought these for my wife who used them to work on the horse farm. She only wore them 3 times and hates them. She won't wear them anymore. Would like to return them but they are covered in mud
