Storm Defender®

Storm Defender Jacket

Storm Defender® waterproof, breathable technology stops rain, but lets sweat escape through a breathable membrane ― so you can work through a storm.

Staying dry, focused, and safer is easier with rainwear featuring Storm Defender® waterproof breathable technology. It’s made to keep you completely protected from rain and amazingly comfortable inside. Work doesn’t stop when it rains; it just gets harder. Lugging rain soaked garments around adds to the misery, but Carhartt’s jobsite worthy raingear cuts the discomfort.

Bad gloves and Carhartt doesn't care
I bought these gloves because I needed them for work. My third day at work, the Velcro ripped off for the one side and the first time I dipped them in water I found out the one finger soaked water all the way in. They are not waterproof. I sent Carhartt three separate emails about this and haven't heard one word back. very disappointed. I absolutely need gloves for work and I'm out here looking like a jerk

Not very well made
It's a nice looking glove, however it's not very well made, because the velcro strap on the wrist did not make it pass day 1 of working before the seams has ripped, not very well made at all very disappointed with the quality of the craftsmanship of the wrist strap!

Not bad
Great glove! These gloves will definitely keep your hands warm in cold weather. I liked how they fit and how comfortable they are to wear. They are waterproof but your hands might start to get cold due to the outer shell of the glove being wet. However I didn't like how the black part of the glove wasn't very durable. I somehow had the black mesh backing of the glove rip. Exposing the waterproofing material which is essentially just a thin layer of plastic similar to a latex glove, or trash bag. I imagine if that hole gets bigger the waterproofing material would easily rip and the glove would no longer be waterproof. Overall I did love the gloves, they lasted most of the winter. I normally have my gear under moderate to heavy use due to the nature of my job. I would definitely recommend to others and buy them again myself for next winter.
