Description

Heritage work boots are designed with Storm Defender™ waterproof system and the Carhartt TPU heel guard to provide ankle stability and protection in rough environments. Pull-on style Wellington features PU coated leather for extra abrasion resistance and 400g LiteFire® insulation for the cold winter months. The flexible polyurethane outsole provides traction and durability while the Cushion Comfort PU footbed and FastDry™ lining keep your feet fresh until the end of the day.

Best pair of boots money can buy. This is my second pair of this type of boots. The first pair lasted 2 years. I have at least 25 miles this winter in my boots. Last 2 days i walked 3.9 miles from Waukegan Court house back to the American Inn Motel Beach Park IL NO BLISTERS either. 8 miles 2 days. Need a local store to carry them in stock. I picked these boots cause you drive a truck as long as me nothing like slipping some boots on in middle of the night to unload at some DC. Thanks Carhartt great boots

Not feeling insulated
If I'm being honest, they said insulated, but my feet get really cold standing in the snow with them and I'm not in the snow for too long

Size is small, so order big, or find a store that carries them and try them on for fit
Size seems to run on the small size. My shoe is a 10-1/2- I had ordered a pair of 11 a few years ago. I could hardly get my foot in them as the neck has no laces nor zipper, so I sold them. I ordered a 11-1/2, and find they seem to fit well wearing a pair of heavier socks. My feet don't get unbearable cold when it's near 0 F out, but not exactly overly warm either. With just regular crew socks, my feet do get cold. I should add, even with a full digit size bigger than normal, they aren't overly big. So far these are the best boot I found with a safety toe and made for winter. Soles aren't super slippery on snow, but have no grip on ice. Downgraded to a 4 Star only to let people know to up the size.
