Perfect for those cold days. When I use this with the set. I don't feel the elements period. The entire set has proved to be a wise investment.

It has transformed my Carhartt canvas winter parka (cuffs, drawstring, heavy insulation) from a nearly useless paperweight to an actually useful piece of apparel. The coat by itself has a poorly placed zipper that leaves the front of one's neck deeply exposed to wind and snow, and cannot be used in inclement weather without a scarf wrapped around your neck, which is both inconvenient and unsafe. I suggest that you move the zipper further up on the neck, maybe even allow for a "turtleneck" curl to prevent this. And/or highly recommend purchasing the hood at the same time.

Extremely warm and nice to have snaps for attachments rather than hook & loop which sticks to everything and wears out. Would be great if it automatically came along with the Yukon Extreme jacket which is also very impressive and sized for layering. Same material as jacket, which is tough

I have a green Yukon extreme jacket. Would love to see the hood available in the same color/fabric. Returned as I just couldn't do the black hood with the green jacket (slave to fashion that I am) Thank you!

The hood is okay..like the rim on the top...but its too big and miss the draw strings to make it tight like on my old carhartt coat. Its okay....and just like to add the carhartt coat its arm pit area is a bit tight...do not like this at all for a 200 coat. But like how long it is goes over your butt and sleeves are nice. But its hard to move properly with the arm pitts so tight..that was a very bad change. So between coat and hood. Neg. Hood too big it catches wind no way to tighten it miss the drawstrings and arm pits to tight on coat. But other than that breaks wind well warm, good length , like the extra visor on hood.
