Older made coat is better made and warmer than these new ones!
These coats are not made like they used to be. I have one in the brown duck color with thick flannel lining that I have had for at least 12 years that I have worn everyday in our 9-10 months of below zero winter. It is now starting to show wear and tear but is still very warm. I am pretty sure that the one I just bought is not going to take the beating or last as long as the old one, nor be as warm. Don't fix something that isn't broken!

Old Yukon was better
I've owned this coat for two years now, and despite my efforts to like it, it simply doesn't measure up to the older Yukon jacket. The body isn't long enough, which is a significant problem when I'm active. It rides up easily, pulling my shirt up and exposing my skin to the extreme cold. Additionally, the pockets are noticeably smaller, and the jacket doesn't provide the same level of warmth I experienced with the previous version. Ultimately, this jacket doesn't function effectively for me in the way the old one did.

Best jacket ever - quality and essential
This jacket is my favorite when I am not working. It is classy, warm and breaks hard winds from breaking through. I own 5 Carhartt jackets and they are the only brand I trust for durability and everlasting.
