An update to the most popular Carhartt Active Jac, the J130, this women's active jac was designed using feedback from our Carhartt Crew. Every detail, from the internal placement of the hood drawcords and locks to keep them from getting snagged on machinery or withdrawing back up into the hood to the updated zipper is designed to help you work smarter.

Bust:

Measure the fullest part of your bust, keeping the measuring tape parallel to the floor.

Natural Waist:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

Hips:

Measure the fullest part of your hips, approximately 8” below the natural waist.

Of course, it's a Carhart
I love Carhart everything. This purchase is for a Christmas gift, however; I inspected my purchase and it is very well made. The stitching is straight and the inside of the jacket feels very warm. She is going to love it.

So great!
I was so torn on the size I should get because of the term "loose fit" in the title. Carhartt jackets have always ran small on me and I always get size small and wish I had got a medium. So, I took a chance and ordered this in medium. I'm 5'5 and 135 pounds for reference. This was the perfect fit for me. I really wanted a loose fit where I felt like I could move around without it being too big to the point that it is unflattering. I'm so glad I didn't size down based on the fact that it is a loose fit style. Medium was not too large at all. I'm very happy. Also, side note, it was very stinky when I got it. It smelled like it had been soaking for three days in butt and feet sweat. I was nervous to wash it but that wasn't a problem at all and it took the gross smell away. I did minimal detergent, cold normal wash cycle, and low heat delicate drying. It came out just fine.

Perfect Fit, Super Cute
I LOVE this coat! It's cute and warm and perfect for winter. I scoured reviews on sizing as I felt I was between a small and a medium. I read every review of people who were the same height and weight as me. I am 5'6, 140 (36-29-39). I got the small and I'm so glad I did. The M would have been too big. I wore a hoodie under it the other day and still had room. It's November here in Rochester NY so it hasn't been too cold yet but I think it will be great for fall and winter.
