Warm and so cute!

I love the navy blue color and the style of the jacket itself. Because I work outside, the thinsulate allows me to layer for different conditions. I don't have to worry about dirt and stains showing on this color unlike the pastel colors and I will NEVER buy pink or purple. I just wish the shoulders were broader. I have men's Carhartt jackets, but while they accommodate my shoulders they are very bulky around the middle. So for now this is a better choice. I had a full arm swing women's jacket at some point in the past, which was great, but couldn't find one this time around. I appreciate Carhartt making work wear for women that is work wear and not fashion.

I've owned and worn a Carhartt jacket doing barn chores in Midwest winters for over 10 years. My old and much loved jacket still has miles to go but is definitely showing its age. To use a horse term?it's been ridden hard and put away wet! So I ordered a new one which I'll break in gently and use it for other outdoor activities or trips to the feed store. The new one, navy, arrived today. Shipping was fast!!! I immediately tried it on and it fits perfectly! I'm always afraid of ordering clothes online for fear they will be too big or too small and I'll have to hassle with a return. But not in this case! The size chart was a perfect guide. Material and craftsmanship are what you expect from Carhartt. My only complaint is that I wish aligning the zipper to zip it up was a little more user friendly. I suspect that will improve over time as the jacket gets worn in but if they could improve this one thing from the get go it would be fantastic! All in all it's a great jacket that I'll get years worth of use out of. Thank you Carhartt!!!!!
