Storm Defender®

Storm Defender Jacket

Storm Defender® waterproof, breathable technology stops rain, but lets sweat escape through a breathable membrane ― so you can work through a storm.

Staying dry, focused, and safer is easier with rainwear featuring Storm Defender® waterproof breathable technology. It’s made to keep you completely protected from rain and amazingly comfortable inside. Work doesn’t stop when it rains; it just gets harder. Lugging rain soaked garments around adds to the misery, but Carhartt’s jobsite worthy raingear cuts the discomfort.

How to Measure

Note: For best results measure over your undergarments. Use a cloth measuring tape.

measure men's bib

Waist:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

Inseam:

Measure from your crotch down to the desired length on body. You can also measure pants that you currently own and like. Lay the garment flat, and measure on the front from the crotch point along the seam to the hem for the inseam length.

Great in wet weather
Great rainproof work-bibs. I got these in an effort to be comfortable and dry working construction outdoors in winter. These bibs preform well in heavy rain and work well with layers. I have a second work-overall that is insulated but not waterproof and these Carhartt Bibs are %100 better.

Great Match to the Storm Defender Coat!
I have the Storm Defender Jacket so this a nice complement to that. I consider these a nice alternative to cloth bibs that can be worn when the weather is wet, and you don't want to get soaked. It's not as warm as cloth bibs but if you are working and moving around, I find it to be about the perfect weight to keep you warm enough down to about 15 degrees Fahrenheit.
