Built for the Job: Carhartt and Ford Reveal 2027 Super Duty Carhartt Package

Two Detroit brands continue their partnership with a truck designed to support hardworking people and the skilled trades

Built on shared Detroit roots and a mutual commitment to hardworking people, Carhartt and Ford revealed the next chapter of their partnership with the launch of the 2027 Ford Super Duty Carhartt Package. The truck was unveiled at the Essential Unsung Heroes event at Detroit’s historic Michigan Central, marking a significant milestone in the collaboration between the two iconic Detroit brands.

This latest step builds on the commitment Carhartt and Ford made earlier this year to support skilled trades, invest in communities, and create durable products designed for the job. The Super Duty Carhartt Package represents continued progress – bringing that commitment to life in a tangible way.

“This partnership has always been about more than what we make, it’s about who we make it for,” said Linda Hubbard, President and CEO at Carhartt. “From the start, it’s been grounded in our shared commitment to building a better future for hardworking people. The new 2027 Ford Super Duty Carhartt Package brings together Ford’s engineering excellence and our legacy of durability to create a tool designed for the toughest jobs.”

Designed with real-world use in mind, the truck reflects a deep understanding of how hardworking people rely on their equipment every day. The design incorporates thoughtful details that emphasize durability, utility, and craftsmanship – from signature triple-stitched accents inspired by Duck canvas to all-weather floor mats influenced by the materials used in Carhartt tool bags.

“Every detail of this truck was intentional,” said Ben Ewy, Vice President of Global Product Design at Carhartt. “We pulled directly from Carhartt’s product DNA, things like our triple-stitched construction and the durability of our tool bags, and applied that thinking to the vehicle. It’s not just about how it looks; it’s about how it holds up to the demands of the job.”

The reveal comes just two weeks after Carhartt and Ford helped bring ToolBank to Detroit, demonstrating how the partnership’s commitment extends beyond the jobsite and into the community. By expanding access to tools and equipment, ToolBank enables hands-on learning, supports neighborhood projects, and helps strengthen the communities where skilled work happens every day.

In addition to community investment, Carhartt and Ford continue to support skilled workers by investing in new career pathways and training opportunities. This includes outfitting the next class of TechForce Foundation scholarship recipients in custom Ford x Carhartt gear, reinforcing pride, professionalism, and readiness as they prepare to enter the trades.

“Supporting hardworking people takes more than great products – it means investing in skills, strengthening communities, and creating real opportunity,” said Hubbard. “That’s the work we’re focused on and it’s what will make a lasting difference.”

As the partnership continues to evolve, Carhartt and Ford remain focused on building for the long term, creating durable products, expanding access to training, and strengthening the communities that keep work moving forward every day.
