An update to the most popular Carhartt Active Jac, the J130, this women's active jac was designed using feedback from our Carhartt Crew. Every detail, from the internal placement of the hood drawcords and locks to keep them from getting snagged on machinery or withdrawing back up into the hood to the updated zipper is designed to help you work smarter.

Bust:

Measure the fullest part of your bust, keeping the measuring tape parallel to the floor.

Natural Waist:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

Hips:

Measure the fullest part of your hips, approximately 8” below the natural waist.

Test in all weather conditions
Took this jacket to the teat on all weather conditions. Needed something to walk my lab (dog) and head out the door. I do a lot of fitness. 5'4 130lbs and i normally wear a small in women but went for the medium and PERFECT fit. Bought in NYC end of October 2025 Used in November and December mornings in NYC. I bought a medium so I can wear a hoodie sweatshirt underneath. It does keep you warm but with a sweater or sweatshirt underneath. The big test is in Vermont December 28 2025 temps are frigid cold rain and icy. Took it up for a 2 mile hike in was raining and the inside held great WARM! BUT it does get a bit on the heavy side when it gets wet! I was able to move upper body very comfortable and not restricted. Did it keep me warm yes. I use this coat specifically to head out to walk my dog and head to CrossFit. The waist is great, pockets are big to leave your gloves in the outside pockets. The sleeves on the wrist are great. The feel/ material of jacket is not heavy like other Carhartt jackets. Hope this helped in making your decision.
