Men's heavyweight, insulated biberalls made with CORDURA® fabric for the harshest weather.

In the 1970s, Carhartt sent a massive order of coveralls to workers building the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. These men's biberalls were designed using feedback we received from those workers. They have a durable CORDURA® fabric shell that fights off wind, abrasion, and light precipitation. The smooth quilted lining runs from the cuffs on up through the bib, and the insulation inside is the warmest we offer.
  • 1000-denier heavyweight CORDURA® fabric nylon shell
  • CORDURA® fabric offers resistance to tears, scuffs, and abrasions
  • Quilted nylon lining for easy on and off; Arctic weight polyester insulation for ultimate warmth
  • Rain Defender® durable water repellent (DWR) keeps you dry and moving in light rain
  • Wind Fighter® technology tames the wind

best cold weather bibs
Recently picked these up and they are the warmest bibs I've ever had. I recommend these to anyone working outside in the winter.

quality reduction
This is not my first pair of arctic Carharrts. Our relationship is a very long one. I am very disappointed with the hardware on my latest pair of biberalls. I have withheld one star on the durability and overall rating due to the apparent cost cutting switch to what appears to be a much cheaper and weaker suspender fastening system. I hope this second rate manufacturing process hasn't spread throughout the entire Carharrt line, and various aspects of each product. Time will tell, and if I'm proven that these new fasteners are equal or superior to the older models, I will review my rating. Beyond that, this pair has thus far stood up to expectations in the elements, mostly wind, as I have only utilized them in temps in the single digit range so far. I feel confident that they will match previous Carharrt expectations.

Best bibs I have ever owned
I purchased these to stay warm while Ice fishing . These provide me with the warm and protection I need. By having these I don’t have to layer up as much. They a super comfortable and I high recommend them to anyone who is looking to venture out in the elements with out feeling like the kids from Christmas story. Nothing beats the quality of carhartt.

For those who demand and need the very best
I have been working outside during the winters doing construction work for the past 15 years. Carhartt is the only jacket and bibs I will ever wear. Unmatched durability, comfort and quality. Nothing else even comes close. Also works great for hunting and ice fishing. I have worn artic lined jackets and bibs for 10 hour work days and if Carhartt can't keep you warm, its too cold be outside period.

Unfortunately I had to return them. Not Carhartt's fault. I got the wrong size. Will buy another pair.

Love the brand hate the prices what’s up sir
The higher prices and no discounts or sales ever in 15 years I’ve shopped through them are the only things that pier me away after 15 years of being an avid Carhart customer for construction that I do.

Wondering if there's a women's style like this? if not I'll stick with the mens but I don't know what sizing I should go with in Mens. Since I have a waist of 30 with clothes on and inseam of 34.
A shopper on Jan 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We do not have a similar style in our women's line at this time. The smallest size we offer this in is 32, which is available with a 34 inseam.
I’m a female and the women sizes don’t seem too fit properly. I’m stuck in between men’s 28-30 waist & my in seam is 30. What size would be recommended?
A shopper on Jan 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, we do not offer a 28" or 30" waist in the R33. We would suggest the 32x30.
Good evening. I just received a pair of extreme arctic bibs and found that the hand pockets are not zippered as stated in your advertisement. Can you explane?
A shopper on Jan 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The website does say zippered hand pockets, this does reference the two chest pockets that are zippered. We understand the confusion and have sent this to the appropriate channel to have the wording corrected.

Would you recommend these for skiing or are they too loose around the boot? Basically I'm asking if snow would get up inside them if you fall over going downhill.
Casper B on Nov 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would not recommend for regular down hill skiing on a groomed hill, they are quite bulky. If you were in the back woods skiing and camping they may work for dual purpose as they are quite warm, snow will go up any pant leg that is not fitted or lined for skiing
every online store i have checked anx the 32x28 are out of stock. are these still being made or are they just a popular size?
A shopper on Nov 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This style is not made in size 32x28. For a 28 inch inseam waist sizes will start at 34. For a 32 waist the inseam will start at 32 inches.
