Top notch product
These unlined zip-to-the-knee overalls meet my expectations for a top quality product. As found before, the suspender fasteners are difficult to hook/unhook. They are definitely sized larger. I would recommend to others.

My son and husband are welders and your bib overalls are the only ones that hold up. Thank you for a great product.

been looking for years for this product
Zipper up the legs has been very, very hard to find. This is my third pair of Carhartt bibs and Farm & Fleet does not carry unlined bibs with zip up legs. I finally found them on your website. Customer Service has been excellent.

Snow Review
The material is not necessarily snow proof but still works very well with keeping you dry. I love it and I think its great for snowboarding in weather that is not super cold.

Best bibs I’ve ever had
These bibs, have been through three rough seasons of concrete winter work, and have yet to let me down!! These bibs keep me warm, they keep me dry, and they keep up with me every day that I need them to! P.S. I also have the kneepads, and they are a dream when working laying hardscape, and finishing concrete in the cold!

Would this be good for someone whose a mechanic?
A shopper on Oct 5, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I think it would work. I like them because I can unzip the leg to make it easier to get work shoes and boots thru the leg when putting them on or taking them off.
ZIP TO THIGH Just ordered another one ! I had a snap pull out of the leg , can I buy a couple extras ? Short of that I really like them .... much cooler in the hot weather and still have duck material to kneel on in the dirt . Im thinking about taking a Q Tip and lubing the snaps after washing . Any ideas on a lubricant ? Steve W. Warwick R.I.
steven w on Jun 26, 2020
BEST ANSWER: We do not have a specific lubricant to recommend, but we advise you to check to make sure that it is safe to use on cotton. We are sorry to hear that a snap pulled out. Please contact us at 1-800-833-3118 for further assistance with the snaps.
Will these shrink? We ordered same size as old pair I need to replace AND THE NEW ONES ARE HUGE!
CHERYL M on Jun 12, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I typically wear a 36x32 in pants and ordered the same size in these bibs and they seemed really tight in the waist and more like a 34 in length. I sent them back and ordered a 40x32 with two hot washes and dryer, they are perfect with some room to play
I noticed that there are new colors coming out for some of the other styles and was wondering if you would be getting this style in a Navy or Dark Navy in the near future?
A shopper on Jan 29, 2020
BEST ANSWER: This style is not going to be offered in the color Navy or Dark Navy anytime soon. However, we have forwarded this to our product team as a suggestion.
size in inches of pant leg at cuff ?
A shopper on Jan 3, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The measurement may vary by size. Please contact us with the size you are interested in for further assistance. You can reach us by phone at 800-833-3118 Monday-Friday from 8am-9pm EST and Saturdays 9am-5pm EST, by Live Chat Monday-Friday 9am-12am or Saturday & Sunday 9am-9pm EST or anytime by email at just_ask_us@carhartt.com.
What are the extra button holes for by the zipper and strap?
A shopper on Dec 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I bought a pair of these about a year ago and have absolutely loved owning them. I believe the button holes that you are asking about (located at hip level on both sides) are used with the adjacent buttons to “close” up the sides. They are very useful (when unbuttoned) for expanding the waist area for easy on and off. After you get them on, the buttons can be engaged and you get a better fit in the waist area. Hope this helps.
How long are the leg zippers?
A shopper on Dec 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The measurement may vary by size. Please contact us with the size you are interested in for further assistance. You can reach us by phone at 800-833-3118 Monday-Friday from 8am-9pm EST and Saturdays 9am-5pm EST, by Live Chat Monday-Friday 9am-12am or Saturday & Sunday 9am-9pm EST or anytime by email at just_ask_us@carhartt.com.

p d on Dec 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We do not currently offer a 38 inch inseam for our bibs styles. We have shared this with our product team as a suggestion.
What does R37 mean?
A shopper on Nov 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: R37 is the style number.
Are the coveralls fire retardant or fire proof?
A shopper on Nov 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This style is not fire resistant.
What is the purpose/benefit of the thigh zip?
atamland on Jul 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Atamland - the thigh zip makes it very easy and convenient to put these overalls on while already wearing boots
can I get this bib in a 26 or 28 leg inseam?
Paula G on Apr 28, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The shortest inseam this style is made is 30 inches.
I am thinking about ordering bibs for my husband for the 1st time. He normally wears Arizona jeans 34x32. He will probably still wear his jeans underneath the bibs so I want them to have some room. What size would you recommend?
A shopper on Dec 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The measurement may vary by size. Please contact us with the size you are interested in for further assistance. You can reach us by phone at 800-833-3118 Monday-Friday from 8am-9pm EST and Saturdays 9am-5pm EST, by Live Chat Monday-Friday 9am-12am or Saturday & Sunday 9am-9pm EST or anytime by email at just_ask_us@carhartt.com.
On my boyfriends R41 bibs, it is a size 36 X 32. I am thinking of getting these as a Christmas gift and don't want to ask him exactly what size he wears. So my question is, is the first number his waist or his inseam size? I'm thinking the first number would be his inseam since he is 6'2" but just double checking before submitting the order.
Haley V on Nov 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The first number is his waist, second number is the inseam. He may have it turned around since as you say he’s over six feet tall. Can you measure a pair of his jeans or look at the tag in them for a size without him knowing?
I'm 6'5 and normally wear a 36 inseam. For once I want a bib that actually goes all the way to my boots. Will the 36 length actually do it on these?
A shopper on Nov 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They tend to run a bit longer in the length. I typically wear a 32 length and ordered these in a 32 but seemed more like a 34. My guess is that a 36 length will be more like a 38 but with a few washes will bring that length back to a 36
Are these bibs prewashed? Softer as opposed to the stiff fabric?
A shopper on Oct 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, this style is the made with the firm hand cotton Duck material.
would these work as snow pants ?
A shopper on Jul 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I wear them over breathable layers of clothes every winter, logging firewood. I worked as a lineman for the power co for 30 years. All lineman wear them in the winter, switching to insulated bibs when the temp got down to single digits and below zero. Tough, wind and snow resistant, made for work, but I use them for hunting and ice fishing, also.
What would it take to get these in blue? Do you take custom orders that way? I would be willing to pay extra
A shopper on Apr 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We do not offer custom orders. We have forwarded this to our product team as a suggestion.
Do these have a button or zipper fly?
A shopper on Mar 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This style has a zipper fly.
unlined or lined bibs for spring weather?
A shopper on Mar 6, 2018
Duck Zip-To-Thigh Bib Overall/Unlined
Duck Zip-To-Thigh Bib Overall/Unlined
Duck Zip-to-Thigh Bib Overall/Quilt Lined
Duck Zip-to-Thigh Bib Overall/Quilt Lined
BEST ANSWER: I have both
Milking cows in Ky the weather can swing 20 to 30 degrees in the spring time
If I could only pick one it would be the unlined easier to layer trying to stay warm and not burn up
