So far, so good!
Bought these gloves for a summer trip to Arctic Canada - they seem to be well-made, sturdy yet flexible, and good looking -- can't wait to try them out in the cold!!

Very good Glove
I bought these gloves for Montana Winters. I work outside at communications towers. These gloves run a little small so get 1 to 2 sizes bigger, I did not use these with hard work because they would have been destroyed. I used them for surveys etc. not having to work shovels or other hard surfaces. they kept my hands warm and also worked well with a tablet. (phones are a little difficult but do work)
The only issue I had was the stitching around the wrist had come out.
I went to the Carhart store to see what could be done.
Very good service. Replaced the gloves with no questions.
These are fantastic Gloves. They are not Heavy Duty so don't expect it. They do have some duty capabilities but mostly light duty and good extreme cold protection.

Warmer & Darker than expected.
These gloves are awesome! They are very warm even in below freezing temperatures! Coloring is slightly darker than it appears in the photo.

Note size; material and your intended use
First impressions here. I live in north Texas, where we have relatively mild winters. I would consider these light gloves for moderately cold days in our climate. Note the Carhartt description: soft, wind-resistant fleece. This is true. They are simply a fabric glove, one that I would call more of a durable knit fabric, similar in appearance to the outside finish of a sweatshirt (but tougher), but without the fuzzy fleece inner surface of the sweats.

One reviewer referred to these as work gloves. I would not. I cannot imagine these holding up to any actual oudoor work, such as gardening or firewood handling. I bought them to wear "in town" with dressier coats. I don't consider these to fit in the classic Carhartt "farm chore" category at all.

I have long fingers, relatively slender for a 250 pound guy. My hand measures 9 inches, precisely a large on the size charts. I recently ordered gloves from another well-known retailer and couldn't even force my hand inside; reviewers there almost universally complained about small sizing. I consulted with Carhartt before ordering their gloves and was recommended to try XL and 2XL. These gloves in XL were wearable, but just a little small and short in the cuff for me. The 2XL is the best fit for my "large" hand. Considering my experience with both companies' sizing, I'd recommend you err on the large side unless you like a tight glove. Call or chat with Carhartt before ordering...coat sizing is on the money, but something's odd with gloves.

The circumference of my hand is pretty much 8inches. What size should I get?

I lost the index finger on my writing hand and need to use my middle finger to text, etc. Are all the fingers on the glove touchscreen capable?
Sammy on Jan 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: All five fingers on the glove are touch-sensitive!
Are these gloves bulky on the hands?
A shopper on Nov 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This is the thinnest insulated glove I've personally seen. I'm actually surprised at the lack of bulk. The fingers are a box design, as opposed to fingers with a single seam on each side, so the design isn't the slimmest, but overall the gloves are pretty trim.
What is the source of this product?
Anna C Staff on Jun 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This product is imported.
