Warm, dry, and comfortable.
So far, this jacket has kept me warm and dry in -10F actual, 30 mph wind, and cold rain. The XL is roomy, range of motion is excellent, and you won't blow out under-arm seam. I am 6' 2" and 215 lbs. for reference. A Large might do the job if range of motion is not an issue (I layer up with insulated bibs and hoodie). Cleans up well, already washed it a few times. Class-3 Hi Visibility will help keep you safe. Hood, snaps, zippers, Velcro patches, sewn seams, and draw cords are all heavy duty (getting lots of use, we'll see how many cycles we get). I would recommend this jacket if warm, dry, Class-3 are important. I spent less on another brand previously and had to buy theirs twice in 3 yrs. Expecting this Carhartt product to last.

Great buy
I'm happy with my purchase. I tried it on once it came in it feels really warm. I'm happy with the fitment and the materials that it is made out of. I am yard driver/ shunt driver at an automotive assembly plant so I'm constantly in and out of the truck all night and I'm required to wear hi vis. A lot of hi vis jackets from other companies I feel won't stand the test of time and I feel like this jacket will
