Measure the fullest part of your bust, keeping the measuring tape parallel to the floor.

NATURAL WAIST:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

HIPS:

Measure the fullest part of your hips, approximately 8" below the natural waist.

Excellent fit and warm
Excellent fit. Long enough for my torso, yet slim and not baggy or loose. Same for the sleeves. Definitely may feel tighter for some, but the fit eliminates all the extra pockets of air which makes this heavyweight shirt all the more toasty. Love it and has instilled confidence in the Carhartt brand. Will be buying more utilitarian yet stylish clothing.
