Full Swing® Chore Coat

This is a great coat to quickly throw on over a hoodie or sweatshirt when you need to run out quickly. It runs large but that makes it easier to throw on. It's not the warmest jacket, I think its meant to throw on and protect you from the elements. I do like it a lot for quick trips to the barn but I would not wear it for a long day of work.

The Full Swing gear allows a full range of motion, as the name says. The pleats in the back/shoulders, underarm and elbow make this a very comfortable coat for movement. The duck fabric is stiff until broken-in, yet nothing bunches or pulls when you move/reach/bend. This coat is ideal for work. The outer shell is tough/rugged/durable. The lining will provide warmth (especially if you are active/moving), but maybe not for extreme-low temps. I bought a medium, and still have room to layer underneath if needed. There is no zipper or snaps, this coat buttons up, which is plainly described and displayed in the pics. This was exactly what I wanted. The coat is nearly perfect...the look and the fit, every stitch. I would change just one thing, the cuffs are a little tight at the wrist (as other reviews have indicated). There are two buttons at the wrist, but I can't see anybody using the tighter one. Maybe if the looser button was actually the tighter of the two, it would be a nice option for a snugger fit around the wrist - to keep the cuff up off of my hands. But I can see wanting an option that is looser for a more relaxed fit for wearing gloves, or if someone has bigger hands and wrists. This coat should last a long time.

Great jacket to wear in many conditions

I bought this coat a week ago. did not dissapoint! I love the appearance. very stylish and functinol, from the quality duck fabric to the rivets on the packets and sleeves for streangh to the fleece lined pockets this is what to expect when you purchas Carhartt!
