How to Measure

CHEST:

Measure just under arms and across shoulder blades holding the tape firm and level. If your chest falls between sizes, order the next size up.

NATURAL WAIST:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

HIPS:

Measure the fullest point between your natural waist and crotch.

Note: For best results measure over your undergarments. Use a cloth measuring tape.

Fits

Slim Fit: slimmer through hip and thigh; straight leg. Relaxed Fit: relaxed through hip and thigh; tapered leg. Loose Fit: full through hip and thigh; wide leg.

Great Fit. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the material. Previous purchases of this item was a a heavy weight canvas type material. this one was much lighter weight. Not sure about durability. Will have to see how they wear.

all shorts are running two sizes to small.
I was very disappointed when my order came and I went to try on my six pairs of work shorts. this product runs two sizes smaller and they are called loose fit. sucks to be me...

Great shorts!
My husband is a retired commercial fisherman from Alaska now living in the high desert of NM. He been wearing Carhartt for well over 40 years because it's a durable, comfortable brand. These work shorts are particularly nice and soft and look nice.
