Love the tall size and the pocket space
I'm 6' and about 180, and I ordered the xl tall in chocolate and they fit perfectly and look amazing. Plenty of pocket space for your tools and whatever else you may need to carry. The straps don't have the typical round button closure- its a metal piece that goes through a slot instead but that's really no biggie. My only complaint is that the legs are super baggy and could do with a little tapering.

These buckles are the worst
I love my overalls and wear them a lot, but the buckles. Clearly someone designed these that never had to unbuckle a strap quickly while hurrying to the bathroom. The buckles are super annoying. Enough so that I won’t buy another pair with that design. I want regular overall buckles.

Love! ??
I love these overalls. I tried a couple other brands that left me feeling boxy, but these are great! They fit like a glove. I am petite and the short size is just the right length. I am 5”1 and 130lbs and bought Small (shorts) I live in Michigan so I wanted to be able to wear a hoodie under these. If you’re under 115 lbs you could do an xtra-small. I’m really excited to take these camping!

TORSO TOO SHORT, MEASUREMENTS WOULD BE HELPFUL!
I'm 5'7" 120lbs. and ordered XS Regular. I have a long-ish torso. These overalls fit great in every way, but rode up to the point that it restricted (comfortable) movement. This was with the straps let out all the way. I first considered exchanging these for a XS tall, but it looks like the tall sizes refer to additional length in inseam, nothing else, so it won't help me. I'm going to try ordering a S to see if the torso is longer; hopefully it will not be too baggy everywhere else. It would be helpful to have actual torso measurements included in the size chart for a work garment that is full-length and most likely worn with movement in mind. I have no idea right now if the S actually has a longer torso than XS (and if so, by how much), despite a call to customer service. Fortunately, shipping/returns is free for the time being. If the S is still too short in torso (or too baggy for my frame), I'll be looking elsewhere for work bibs.

Love them.
I really like these. I am 5’8 and weigh about 200lbs, most of that weight in my bottom half so I was worried about sizing in these. I ordered a large-tall and they’re perfect. Not too long and not too short. They have a slight amount of stretch to them so they fit perfect. The only thing I don’t care for is the clasps. I think they should go back the the traditional ones but im sure I’ll get used to it. Also the hammer loop barely fits 2 fingers so not really functional.

some of y'all are lying about your height and weight here
I'm gonna start off by saying that I love the overalls I ordered, I got the medium regular, and for reference, I am 5'9' and 158 lb. The reason why I said some of you guys are lying is that I ordered a medium regular instead of a small because some reviews said that they ran small while giving their height and weight. I could have easily fit in a small regular, the medium is a little roomy for me, but I honestly don't mind it. If you're in here trying to get some sizing guidance, just measure yourself and use the chart. the material is thinner and stretchier than I expected, but I don't really find that to be negative, since the description does say its lightweight.

Great overalls
I love these. I have had them for a year and they are super light and comfortable, perfect for spring or fall weather when it’s warmer but still a bit cool

Fell out of a tree and they still look great
As the title indicates, I fell 12 feet out of a tree doing yard work wearing these bad boys and they didn't get a scratch (unlike me). Really though, they're unbe-leaf-ably great. Abso-root-ely fantastic. Every time I wear them I re-bark to my family about how wonderful overalls are (don't need to wear a belt!). I'm 5'8" with a pretty muscular build (165 lb) and a long torso. I have the small and they fit great. I have to extend the straps most of the way and I will probably get a tall for my next pair, but they still fit well and I don't have an issue with the length. I've had them for about 6 months and use them pretty regularly for gardening & yard work (and tree climbing : /) and they have held up well. There's lots of pockets which is nice, and I appreciate that the top phone pocket zippers to keep debris out. They're pretty lightweight but still pretty tough, and thin enough that I can tuck them into knee high XtraTufs without an issue. I can wear a t-shirt or a sweatshirt under them comfortably.

Poorly designed "cutesy" straps and buckles
I really like the overall fit and material but the straps and buckles are cheap and poorly designed. Carhartt should have used real overall buckles instead of the cutesy, flimsy, poorly designed versions on these overalls. The buckles constantly twist and flip around and the fabric on the straps rolls and doubles over making the overall look and function of the straps very poor. Women want real work clothes!!!! I know that Carhartt overalls have become very trendy in urban areas, but really....why make us women who actually use these for their originally intended purpose suffer for the sake of cuteness? I'm going to ask a seamstress friend to rebuild the straps on these with "men's" buckles and heavier fabric, but I shouldn't have to do that....

I’m 5’8” and 175lb. I don’t have any carhartt products so I don’t know what would fit best. Medium? Large? Regular? Tall?
A shopper on Oct 9, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Our sizes are based on chest and waist measurements. You are welcome to use our Size & Fit Guide with your measurements. Feel free to contact us if we can be of further assistance.
Will these be back in stock in Carhartt Brown in Medium Tall in 2020? And is there a way to be notified by email when they are back in stock?
paige b on Sep 25, 2020
BEST ANSWER: We will have more stock next year in 2021.
I have been waiting for size medium short to be in stock since Christmas. When will they be back in stock?

I’m 5’9 and 125 pounds. I fit the double fronted women’s jeans in a size 2 Tall, but can’t decide if I need a small or medium in the double fronted overalls. Any suggestions?
A shopper on Aug 26, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Im the same size and the small fits me great.
I’m looking for a pair of overalls to wear while cutting trails for deer hunting. Are these thick enough where they’ll hold up with rough terrain (thorns, thick brush, etc) without shredding after first use? Bonus points if they can limit the number of thorns that poke through.
A shopper on Aug 17, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I’ve worn mine out on the trail and they held up pretty good... they do offer some protection, especially the front of the bib with all the layers and pockets, and along the double front layer of the pants. However, they aren’t too sturdy along the seat or back of the legs. My regular pair of double front pants are thicker than the bibs. Hope this helps, and happy hunting!
What are the torso measurements for the bib overalls? I know the straps are adjustable but the measurement from the top of the bib to the crotch seam.
A shopper on Aug 11, 2020
BEST ANSWER: The measurements vary depending on the size. Please contact us at 1-800-833-3118 so we can assist you further.
Are these good for brewing (or what would you prefer for that task?) I need something that can keep me cool and dry at the same time. I’m usually wearing rubber boots and dealing with a lot of hot water and hoses! Thanks! :)
A shopper on Aug 7, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I don't think these would be good for staying cool. I wear mine during welding. And I get really hot. They are great for cooler weather. They are good for protection but not water proof. If you are looking for water resistant look for waxed canvas pants. As far as staying cool im not sure. It would be great if carhartt carried overall shorts again in different colors. These are perfect for carrying all your tools since they have lots of pockets.
When will these be restocked in Medium short in dark brown?
A shopper on Jun 6, 2020
BEST ANSWER: We will not have a restock date at this time.
Hi, what’s the inseam on the size small? The small-tall is out of stock.
A shopper on May 6, 2020
BEST ANSWER: A short is 29", regular is 31" and tall is 33".
I’m 5’3” 115lbs wondering if I should get the women’s xs short or the boys size 16 ?
A shopper on May 4, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I'm also 5'3" but a little heavier than you and the women's Small/Short fit me perfectly for the work I do, which leads me to think XS/Short would probably work well for you. I usually wear boots, and they fall just about an inch from the floor, which is just right for when I work on wet surfaces. They are nice and snug fresh out of the laundry, but loosen up a little throughout the day, which I've noticed I need for days with lots of squatting/crouching. I do not know how the boys sizes compare to women's, but in experience with other brands, they have different dimensions in the hip/thigh area that fit much different even though the waist diameter is exactly the same.
Why are these not available in Black? These are what I am looking for but not black!!! I would have bought if black. Please make them in black.

BEST ANSWER: We appreciate your feedback and will forward your suggestion to our Product Design Team for future consideration.
Do these have the double layer on the knee?
A shopper on Jan 26, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this style has the double front at the knee area.
Are these good for welding?
A shopper on Sep 18, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We do not recommend any of our styles for Welding.
Are the straps truly adjustable? I ordered a pair of wildwood overalls and was disappointed in the elastic straps that only adjust about an inch.
A shopper on Sep 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: They really are adjustable! I honestly recommend these overalls so much. I live mine and I’ve had it for a year now
Does the womens ioz crawford bib overall come in black? If not is this a possibility in the future? It'd be great for warm weather but many (including my) uniform rules only allow black or navy.
A shopper on Sep 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The Crawford Double Front Bib Overall (102438) does not come in Black. We have shared this with our Product Design Team as a suggestion.

We do offer the Weathered Duck Wildwood Bib Overalls, both lined (102966) and unlined (102743) in the color black.
I'm a size 8L in American eagle Jean's. I'm 5"8 and about 145 pounds. Normally I wear large clothing, the web says I should do a medium tall but there is alot of comments saying a small would be better. True or not? Or should I just be safe and go with a medium tall?
Heather C on Feb 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Our sizes are based on chest and waist measurements. Feel free to contact us if we can be of further assistance at 800-833-3118.
How much do they weigh?
A shopper on Dec 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This style will weigh 1.6-1.9 lbs depending on size.
I tried on a women's bib in the store and I think it was this one. The fabric was so thin and dinky compared to the men's overalls, like it would get a hole in it within a year. Why can't the women's overalls have the same durable fabric but just be fitted better for women?
Sarah S on Nov 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We appreciate your input and are sorry to hear of any concerns you experienced with your bibs. Our women's gear should be just as durable as the men's gear. Please note, this style is an 8 ounce fabric so it is lighter by design. You may like style 102966, which is a 12 ounce weathered duck.
Does the crawford tall size overall (for women) have a longer bib as well as a longer inseam? I ordered a medium and the hip/waist/bust measurements were perfect but even with the straps all the way extended the bib was too short(so it was too tight in the crotch). The legs were also a bit short. I was thinking of ordering a medium tall but want to make sure the bib will be long enough.
heather s on Oct 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The bib length would not change if the inseam length is changed. This would remain the same but the inseam would be longer if purchased in a tall instead of regular.
Do these ever come in black?
Emily L on May 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No; this style is only available in Black and Carhartt Brown.
When will the longer inseam option be available?
A shopper on May 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Tall sizes will be available for Fall 2018.
What is the width of the bottom of the leg on a large pair?
daina on Apr 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: In size Large, the leg opening is about 19 1/4" around.
What knee pads do you recommend to use with these. How do you get them inserted in leg?
A shopper on Mar 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You are welcome to purchase them at any retailer. We have customers who have purchased from safeworker.com. The knee pad would need to be folded to enter the opening and then adjusted once it is in.
are these bibs "pre-Washed" ? as in softer than traditional Carharts?
