Comfortable, durable pants that are true to size. I like the 2% stretch fabric that allows ease of movement.

I've had many pairs of these or the past similar models of these pants. This new "rugged flex" material is awful. I doubt these will last me a year. The sizing has changed also so they are larger than in the past. I bought these in my usual, 4 short and they seemed okay, a little big around the waist and leg, but I figured this would leave room for long underwear. They ended up shrinking in length and look like high-water pants now...guess I should have gotten the regualr length, but I always wear the Carhartt short. bummer. This new material a a huge disappointment. I bought two pairs of these and a pair of flannel lined. All shrunk in length and aren't going to last.

so my only issue is sizing. I was just about to get another pair an order a 2 but they don't have a 2. I am usually a 4 but the waist is much bigger and the overall fit is a little big but doable besides the waist. I really wanted to see how a 2 fit. wondering why they don't have a 2. but I will keep the 4 but not order another unfortunately cause i would've liked a few pair of these for work and play.

Really love these pants but they are too short for some of us. Please consider offering a "tall" option (34" inseam) in the size 10, 12 and 14. I always have an issue (as do others) with Carhartt pants being too short when they are only available in 32" for the longest inseam. Men's pants are an option but don't fit the same in the waist and hips. Thank you!

My husband and I were clearing trees on our property and I was tearing up my jeans. He bought me 2 pair of Carhartts. They are wonderful and I haven't looked back since wearing them. Not only are they comfortable, they really hold up well. Regarding fit: when working outside, I prefer a looser fit pant. I find Carhartts to be generously proportioned. If I wanted a more snug fit, I could go down a size. I wear a size 6-short with a belt--if I'm tucking in a shirt. A size 4-short would fit fine without a belt. It really depends on how you want the waist to fit--snug or with some give. (It also depends on the dreaded muffin-top.). Love the color options. I'm 5'2" and weigh 124 lbs. I really appreciate the short length which saves a visit to my tailor. I agree with one of the previous reviews and would love to see a pretty eggplant color. Additionally, I receive compliments on them from my friends. Thanks!!
