It was for our son for his workshop activities. He loved all the pockets and the heavy weight of the material. I was impressed with the configuration of the string which gave support over the shoulders, across the back, and around the waist.

I expect this apron to last a long time. The strings to tie could be longer since I'm a big guy. Somewhat awkward to get on

Hubby mentioned needing a carpenter's apron, so I found this one at Carhartt to give to hime for Christmas. There was a little kerfuffle in the ordering (my fault) but we got there in the end. The quality is great. I don't think I could make it myself for what I purchased it for, assuming I could even find the right materials. I'd share a photo but I can't get it to work.

My husband loves this apron. Purchased specifically for gunsmithing because solvents and oils sometimes appear on his regular clothing and also woodworking. Very durable for these specific hobbies.
