Nice
Great jacket. I thought it would be a little longer, but it's still cute. Warmest in the 30s, not so much below freezing without layers.

Great comfy jacket!
I love this coat! It's loose and baggy fit, very comfortable. I bought it for walking my dog etc in the cold spring and fall type weather when you need a jacket but your winter jacket is too warm. I especially love the huge pockets! Great for holding dog walking supplies such as treats and bags as well as my phone etc. It's a lovely soft olive green colour that I think is quite neutral- I was first attracted to the style because it reminded me of the Mod parkas we used to rock in the 1980's! Has a cool vibe to it! For sizing reference I am 5'3" and approx 155 pounds and the Medium is a PERFECT fit for me. It is a baggy loose fitting style. I took off one star for durability since this jacket is not as heavy duty as my other Carhartt jacket I wear for work in the winter. I'm not concerned though about the durability-since this is not a "work" jacket per se, more of a casual cruising around jacket.

Not worthy of #4 Extreme cold rating
My wife does really like this coat, but doesn't believe it should have a #4 Extreme cold rating like my Yukon Extreme parka has. The wife will keep it as it is a perfect coat for those late fall, early spring days with temps in the 20-40 Fahrenheit range. We did get her a different coat for those days when temps are below zero. We live in northern Minnesota, so -20 temps and below are neither unheard of nor uncommon. She needed a coat for those kinds of temps. This coat was not that.

Great Jacket for Layering
I am excited to wear my new coat- I love the pockets and the feel of the shell . Glad it is roomy enough to put a sweatshirt under as it really is more of a shell than a heavy winter jacket. It will be great for snow shovelling (with extra layers underneath) as it has a boxy fit and sheds water. Also perfect for dog walks and general fall/ winter mucking around. It really should not be rated for extreme cold - even here in Boston it's too lightweight for the occasional cold blasts from Canada- I have a full length down puffer for that weather.
