Sturdy and comfy for my puppy. As soon as it was out of the box my pup was on it! He already had one accident on it and I took off the cover and washed it and put it back on and is as good as new! Only a very tiny bit soaked through to the pad and so I just cleaned that with some oxyclean.

Over the first couple of years of our Black Lab's life we went thru at least 5 dog beds...His name is Shadow, but we should have named him Jaws....When I found this dog bed at the Carhartt store they said it was warrantied for life against him chewing it . I bought it immediately. About a Month later I bought our second one...because the first one was still untouched by Shadow's normal appetite. I have not regretted buying these in the least. They still look like new after nearly 2 years.

Great beds, my giant breed dogs like them, very durable!

After trying NUMEROUS other dog beds, this one has been in use for a year and looks as good as the day that I bought it for my Doberman who by the way always chewed holes in the cheaper beds. My dog has not even attempted to chew on this unit but the inner fill pad does become compressed over time, I hope that the washing it will restore some of the fluff. So satisfied that I bought a second one for our bedroom were my dog sleeps next to our bed, but the second one was bought in brown not realtree

My coon hound shredded this bed in less than 30 minutes! 30 MINUTES! I expected so much more from Carharrt. Much cheaper beds have held up better.
