Went and bought the 3X carhartt mens chapman hooded jacket 100729 , and love it (the only thing in question about this jacket is , is it long enough, ? It goes 2 to 3 inches past my waste) really like the style , its very comfortable and the inside & out side breast pocket s on the left side are very convenient, and its warm , and the color sand stone emreld green , really nice,,,,,, ive had 2 outher carhartts but this is by far the best yet,,,,, Hairy W /Flagstaff Az for now,,,

I have owned several carhartts and when I got this one I will never get a different jacket again. I love everything about this jacket. I have had it for several years and I have put it through everything including atv riding, construction, tree cutting, and much more and it still looks almost brand new and feels great. The only reason I am getting another one is because it has grown too small for me and I need a bigger size. But other than that it is still in great condition. I LOVE THIS JACKET!!!!

Great jacket. This was my first carhartt product, but won't be my last. The torso is really snug (fitted denim jacket snug) so if you don't like this feeling go a size up. The arms are very roomy, and the shoulders have a posterior pleat that pretty much allows full range of motion in the shoulder without moving the torso of the jacket or making the sleeves go up. So don't let the snug torso deceive you because the roomy arms and shoulder pleat allow you to move very well. The jacket also has 2 chest pockets, and pen holder which is very nifty. One chest pocket is zippered with a headphone wire hole, and perfect for cell phone or keys. The other chest pocket is a regular chest pocket like on a t-shirt. It's very insulated and warm so layering may not be a problem depending where you live. Overall it's an awesome jacket

Only things that i did not like is that this jack fades in color to more of a dark gray after about a month of use.

Bought this recently for fall and early winter and really like it. Very comfortable jacket with lots of room in the shoulders and sleeves however; the torso area is a bit snug....more than I would personally prefer from a Carhartt product. My concern is how well this will fit when I wear a heavier shirt under it. As for durability the Carhartt name says it all. No doubt this will last a long time even under tough working conditions. I can't yet comment on the results upon cleaning it as it doesn't yet need it. Pockets are sufficient and provide for a variety of needs including a place for a pen or pencil without having to fish for it in a pocket with other items. Overall a keeper....just wish the mid-section had more "give" to it.
