The shorts fit well enough, a little snug but not bad. They're built out of quality material and the pockets are plenty big. But I ordered the Gravel color, expecting a blue/gray but they're actually purple/gray. Super funny, Carhartt.

Bought 3 pair off Zappos all 38 waist. Tried them on 1st pair-perfect fit, 2nd pair- little tight, 3rd pair- couldn't button. All 3 had 38x11 sticker down leg & size 38 on inside label. Took fabric tape to measure actual waist length. 42", 43" & 44" measurements. I really like the shorts themselves but inconsistent in sizing. Can only wear 2 of 3 pair at the moment.
