Carhartt has always supported hardworking men and women who risk their lives to keep our country free. From creating uniforms for the U.S. military in WWI and workwear for women entering the workforce in WWII, to the work we do in connecting military service members and veterans with construction jobs through Helmets to Hardhats, the support of Team Rubicon, and the continued appreciation shown to our own veteran employees, Carhartt values our brave veterans.

texas and florida were both my homes when i was in the air force. so i didnt think twice when the storms hit. i knew i had to return to texas and serve. i missed the veteran community and was looking for something to belong to again after business school. the promise of haing a meaningful experience drew me in. after seven years of serving around the world, the opportunity to serve americans, in america, was awesome. i've never been so dirty and so satisfied. as a student in international developement and humanitarian action, the biggest challenge i face is cooperation and efficiency in the field. when i first ran into team rubicon on opeation pay dirt in alberta canada, i came to the realization this challenge can be overcome, leading to great results in the communities, we serve. furthermore, t r is unique because of when lies in the link between military veterans and civilans. im a civilan, and i feel right at home. elise apap-finkelstein. team rubicon
team rubicon was everything i expected and then some. i figured i was only going to be deployed for a week so i wouldnt get to know anyone well. i was so wrong. i didnt expect to embrace the people i worked with. now, id do anything for these people: they're some of the greatest people ive ever met. when youre out there sore and sweating with people you've gotten so close to, its addicting. this isnt just fun, this is family. i get it now. carlos sanchez. team rubicon
