This past March, we traveled to Santa Fe with our good friend, photographer Elliot Ross, to explore New Mexico in search of the hardest-working farmers and ranchers. What we found were families eager to share a green-chili breakfast burrito, rugged mesas, acres and acres of ranching land, and a whole lot of dirt on our cars.

The folks we met in New Mexico were so willing to let us into their homes and snap their pictures, whether they were shoeing horses, bottling milk or herding llamas down the Rio Grande gorge. You’ll find them throughout our website in some of fall’s toughest gear.
