Fantastic fit, wouldn't prefer the darker color, wish I had ordered more

I found boot cut and straight leg jeans too loose and annoyingly flappy. Skinny jeans are always too tight in the calves and tend to slide down through the day as the calf demands a looser fit with movement so I'm constantly pulling them back up, even with a belt. This slim fit, which I've only recently learned exist in Women's jeans, is neither flappy nor uncomfortably tight. The Carhartt version raises the bar by offering long. At 5'10", regular jeans can be just a little too short to look right with work boots. Not a problem with these long jeans. Also, regular jeans tend to pull down in the back, especially when you are curvy. These, not only do that less than most jeans, but also have 2 more belt loops in the back. Extra loops and higher rise in the back help with that V in the back belt situation that seems to accent the "plumber's crack" you get with most women's jeans. That is definitely not something you want to draw attention to when you are trying to get men to take you seriously in the field. Carhartt seems to get that. They are also a heavier weight denim, which is nice, since the lightweight, spandex infused denim women's jeans are usually made of these days are easy to rip and quick to wear through at the thighs. The only thing I could ask for to make them better is a little more taper from hip to waist. As a curvy woman with a somewhat hourglass shape, it seems to be a challenge to get a pair of jeans that come in enough at the waist, but these aren't bad. Especially for a heavier denim. Other than not knowing how they hold up over time, I would absolutely buy these jeans again. I will probably pick up a pair a month until I replace all of my current jeans that annoy me in various ways.

I have an Apple shape body, my bum and legs are smaller than my hips and waist I also have a pouch due to having C sections and for years I have bought Slim straight Levi's. Now Levi's always made me self conscious of my body, the pants were not straight enough making my pouch was visible, the pants were very saggy at my bum and they were always getting stuck on my calf's, the pockets were 3 inches deep, lastly the jeans were thin. Carhartt slim fit pants are wonderful! The cut is a more straighter and tighter around my pouch making less conscious about that area. They are still loose material at my bum but it is a more flattering looseness, they are not tight on my calf's the material is a nice thick cotton material and they have pockets big enough to put my Samsung phone in. I will continue to buy these pants for years to come or until they change anything about them, with the exception of maybe making the bum less baggy.

Love these jeans finally found jeans that are slim thru the hip and thighs. Very well made. Very comfortable.
