Many of the interior and exterior details were informed by the Ford design team’s visit to the Carhartt Detroit Store, including wheels resembling the manhole covers found just outside the store.

Carhartt and Ford are bringing Toolbank USA to Detroit. Doubling as a training ground for the next generation of tradespeople, the nonprofit organization offers a free tool lending program for community revitalization, trade education, and disaster relief.

Dating back to the 1920s, we’ve produced apparel for Ford factory workers with workwear programs through the 1970s. That’s why we’re partnering to back the next generation who will help drive the future forward.
