How to Measure

Bust:

Measure the fullest part of your bust, keeping the measuring tape parallel to the floor.

NATURAL WAIST:

Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Note: It may not be the smallest point.

HIPS:

Measure the fullest part of your hips, approximately 8 inches below the natural waist.

Note: For best results measure over your undergarments. Use a cloth measuring tape.

Carhartt Junkie
I absolutely LOVE my Carhartt overalls. The problem is, I usually have to purchase the men's versions because of having a longer torso apparently than most women. So when I buy the women's overalls (I have the pink and the railroad version) I have to buy the XL size so there is enough length without having to lower the overall part all the way. (If I did that, they wouldn't fit rcorrectly on the chest). But with having to purchase the XL version, they are a lot baggier than I like. I would have purchased the men's version; however, for some weird reason, they didn't make the railroad version in men's. PLEASE MAKE RAILORAD VERSION in MENS! Also, I would LOVE to see Carhartt make their pants and overall with the oval expansion (like 5.11 military style pants) in the crotch area instead of just a straight seam. This makes moving for blue collar work, so much easier! This needs to be done in the overalls too. Other than that, as usual I always love all my Carhartt products! I have ALOT!

One day in.....
It can still be quite chilly at this time of the year in Green Bay, Wisconsin. During this first major time out for garden clean-up, my new bibs kept me covered and comfortable. I wear size 10 women's jeans and these bibs are size LARGE. I think the fit is great and I wouldn't want them to be any smaller. They needed hemming (of course) but clothes are always too long for me. I also bought the kneepads that get inserted into the double knee pockets. Personally, I wouldn't do that again. For some reason the padding in the right knee literally "rubbed me the wrong way". By mid-day I needed a band aid over the blister that it caused on my kneecap. Overall, the pants will be getting lots of use as garden season begins.
