After wearing this Jacket several times, It drastically under preforms for a Winter rain jacket. -Wind proofing is minimal at best. Even considering having some breathability to the shell. - Water proofing- It will shed water. Haven't used in a suntanned downpore - Installation- Nonexistent. You will have to have add a insulating layer to it (i.e. another coat/ sweater. - Hardware- Heavy plastic zipper. - Pockets are well placed. - I really wanted to use this as a winter parka, but all I got was a summer rain jacket....

Review based on my work in a warehouse and bulk outdoor yard for public works campus. Excellent durable layer for heavy outdoor work. Loose fit means enough room to layer it on top of a mid to heavyweight hoody. Thick durable material that has held up well so far, but not thickly insulated which means it's perfect for layering and not being too bulky. Neoprene cuffs are great for keeping rain and snowmelt from running up your sleeves when you're working with hands above your shoulder height. Removable hood works well, zip and snaps mean watertight front. Pockets are big enough and well positioned. Can still access most when wearing safety vest etc over the top. Wore for two days consecutive in sideways heavy rain and no issues or leaks at all. Overall an excellent waterproof jacket for daily work.
