The Essential Canvas Pant

I use these pants 8 months of the year in a natural area for work. Hold up great and they fit great. I like them so much I am buying another 2 pairs, but not to replace but just as back up - they seem to last forever.

Bring back the loose fit! These won't fit over boots, more snug to the thigh in my normal size so I can't go up, and the pockets are smaller. Bad choice carhartt! Super bummed and will be returning.

My wife is an avid gardener - she spends hours each day working hard and kneeling in soil - when I suggested I get her a pair of Carhartts I was shocked she'd never heard of them (I own several and consider them basically bullet proof and ultra comfortable) - I ordered her a pair and she loves them (she looks kinda cute in them too). Carhartt will never let you down and good luck trying to wear them out.

Hi there I ordered two pairs of these pants. Both size 8. I have noticed only one pair fits properly. Upon looking further into it..I noticed the colour of one of the pairs is darker than the other and doesn't fit properly. Maybe an older style that was out into my order? Nonetheless I purchased these pants because the colour is required for my work. In conjunction with one pair not being the same colour and fitting way too small I am only able to wear 1/2 of the pants I purchased. I'd love an exchange for another pair that actually fits but the light khaki colour is not sold in Canada!

Fits well and very tough for my outdoor work encountering prickly bushes. They look nice enough to wear for all casual activities.

Got two pairs, one tan and one in denim. like them both, although not paying attention I did not realize that what I thought was a pocket on the denims is a seam.

Nice fit and feel to these pants. I love the waist to. The only thing is they are loose in the seat area, but I'd definitely will buy another pair. I think I can get away with a 4. I bought a 6 regular length and I'm 5'2 140 pounds.

I want to start by saying I love these pants. I love how they fit and how they feel. I work in automotive at an OEM and these go through the day to day wear like a champ. Until they don't. I have to buy two pairs every 6 months due to them wearing out in the inner thighs and ripping. The only reason these pants don't get 5 stars is because of that fact. My request is that Carhartt reinforces the inner thighs for prolonged wear. I will keep buying these, but might have to resort to altering them more than I normally do (I have to hem them because I am only 5'2"). I would definitely pay a little more for more durable pants. They fit okay but they almost fit like men's at the waist with a big space at the back. Belt must be needed
