Loose Fit Washed Duck Insulated Active Jac

Really good looking jacket, it’s tough and pretty warm. It’s also somewhat heavy. I would size down if you don’t have to layer a lot. I’m 175cm or 5’9” and 62kg or 137lbs with an athletic body and I bought a size S (I usually wear M) and can wear it with a hoodie underneath.

My adult son was in a motorcycle accident. EMTs had to cut his Carhartt jacket off. It and a leather jacket had protected him from road rash. He now had no winter jacket. I couldn't get his color &/or size anywhere. I called Carhartt to try to get the EXACT replacement. Not only am I getting exactly the same jacket but expedite in shipping too! YAY CARHARTT! EVEN MY DOG WEARS CARHARTT! A+++ Customer Service and a great product.

A bit thinner then my last one, but it does make it a little more broken in feeling. As long as they don't go cheaper with the duck material its a good purchase. Its warm enough for a t shirt in single digits, but won't make you sweat indoors with it on. Its thick and a little heavy but you dont feel that wearing it. It repels water very well and takes a long time to soak through. Ive owned cathartt jackets on the jobsite for 25 years and theyre hard to destroy. Like genuinely tough to beat. The hood is big and stands firm and doesnt flop. Elastic cuffs and waist are a first for me, but I wouldn't go back. 9/10 only because the duck got thinner, but not in a bad way, except it costs the same. Def buy it, its still currently worth it.

Quality of outer material and stuff seems good. Not the least bit warm. If you want to freeze to death then you should buy this jacket.
